what to expect
Each class is designed to balance practical self-defence training with long-term skill development.
Classes are divided into two main parts:
1. Practical Self-Defence Training
The first part of the class focuses on realistic self-defence situations.
This may include:
Striking and defensive movement
Awareness and positioning
Weapon-related problems
Scenario-based drills
Training is scaled to your level — beginners work safely and methodically, while experienced students train with greater intensity.
2. Curriculum & Skill Development
The second part of the class reinforces core Krav Maga skills through our curriculum.
This is where:
Fundamentals are built properly
Techniques are refined over time
Skills are connected and reinforced
Even if you’re not grading, the curriculum provides the foundation that makes all self-defence training more effective.
PROGRESSION & TRAINING LOGIC
Krav Maga Systems is not a just a “random technique” class.
Training is structured so that:
Students can join at any time
Key skills are revisited regularly
Learning builds through exposure and repetition
No one is expected to “know everything” immediately
Progress happens over time — not in a single session.
ASSESSMENT & SKILL CHECKS
At regular intervals, we run structured assessment sessions to:
Review key skills
Identify areas for improvement
Support students preparing for grading (optional)
These sessions help ensure training remains effective and consistent.
TRAINING BLOCKS & FOCUS AREAS
Throughout the year, training runs in structured blocks that focus on key areas of self-defence (such as striking, weapons awareness, ground survival, and multiple attacker concepts).
This allows:
Better learning retention
More meaningful drilling
Clear progression without rushing
You don’t need to track the blocks yourself — the structure supports you as you train.
last point
You don’t need to prepare, get fit, or study beforehand.
Just show up and train — we’ll guide you from there. Krav Maga is a skill developed over time, so consistency, exposure, and structured training matter more than trying to learn everything at once.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you.
